This de luxe porter was launched by Sir Nigel Mobbs, KStJ JP, Lord-Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire who charged the coppers with choice hops. We are particularly pleased to display the Lieutenancy colours around the border. The Lieutenancy is one of the most ancient Offices in England dating from 1535 in Buckinghamshire. The beer is rich robust and rewarding and all the ingredients are English and of the first rank. It celebrates our 20th anniversary and will lend an air of jollity on all suitable occasions.
